April Fool’s Day is of unknown origin, but many believe it began around 1582 in France, when the Gregorian calendar was introduced, and New Year’s Day changed from April 1st to January 1st. Those unaware of the change who continued to celebrate on April 1st were called April Fools.

    And I always find it amazing how a one line quote can hold so much truth! They really have a way of sticking with you.
