Welcome

I'm so glad you're here.

Blessing counting leads to gratitude which leads to peace, contentment, and happiness . . . not from having what you want, but from wanting what you have.

Abundance

Abundance – richly supplied, more than adequate, more than sufficient.

Life in abundance comes only through great love.
~Elbert Hubbard

Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
your justice like the ocean depths.
You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.
How precious is your unfailing love, O God!
All humanity finds shelter
in the shadow of your wings.
You feed them from the abundance of your own house,
letting them drink from your river of delights.
For you are the fountain of life,
the light by which we see.
Psalm 36:5-9

You pray in your distress and in your need; would that you might also pray
in the fullness of your joy and in your days of abundance. ~Kahlil Gibran

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times,
having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8

Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.
~Albert Einstein

From His abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.
For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness

came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. But the unique One,
who is Himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.
John 1:16-18

Father, Abundance describes You. Your love. Your grace. Forgiveness and mercy. Like sand on the shore or stars in the heavens, Your provision is boundless providing all that we need to fulfill your plan and give You glory. Thank you. We thrive in Your presence. We rest in Your promises. We praise You and thank You. Amen.

Abundance describes Him…yes, yes, yes! My heart has been overwhelmed recently by the fact that all of my life is grace. His abundant and overwhelming grace. I am surrounded by blessing after blessing that I have done nothing to deserve. It is all His grace.

And I LOVE the quote that you shared by Einstein. Oh, how often I try to find happiness by counting things that do not really count. May He help me see and rejoice over all that truly matters.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. What a blessing. :)
