Welcome

I'm so glad you're here.

Blessing counting leads to gratitude which leads to peace, contentment, and happiness . . . not from having what you want, but from wanting what you have.

New Year Prayer

Revelation 21:5

Father, We have closed the calendar on 2012 and opened 2013. The pages are blank and full of wonder to us, but not to You. You see every event, hear every word, and understand every attached emotion.

You know every success we will celebrate, and each failure we will grieve. You are already covering each day with Your love. Your mercy and grace flow through the days and weeks ahead.

Although we may feel uncertain or anxious about the future; You are going before us laying a firm foundation. You provide all we need to move ahead with hope and faith.

Thank you Father. Your love heals our past, blesses our present, and holds our future.

Help us to live each day with gratitude. Help us to overflow with love and compassion.

Bless us with Your forgiveness and help us to forgive those who hurt us. We want to follow where You lead and obey Your will.

We love You. We trust You. Keep us close to You and to each other.

Bless us and fill us with Your peace. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Amen.

O Lord, I give my life to You. I trust in You, my God! Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by Your truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in You. Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and unfailing love, which You have shown from long ages past. Psalm 25:1, 4-6

Because I am saved by grace, I am trying to live every day with intentional gratitude. Counting My Blessings helps to keep me accountable and working toward that goal.
