Peace and Quiet

Our little mister loved sitting quietly and looking at baby Jesus. 

Have you spent some quiet time with the infant King this week?

For a child is born to us,
    a son is given to us.
The government will rest on His shoulders.
    And He will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
His government and its peace
    will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of
His ancestor David for all eternity.
Isaiah 9:6-7

You will keep in perfect peace
    all who trust in You,
    all whose thoughts are fixed on You!
Isaiah 26:3

The Counselor, the Holy Spirit—the Father will send Him
in My name. He will teach you all things and remind you of
everything I have told you. “Peace I leave with you. My peace
I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Your heart must not be troubled or fearful.
John 14:26-27

Father, thank you for the gift of perfect quiet peace given in and through Jesus.
