I have a thing for baskets.
Big baskets. Small baskets.
Fabric baskets. Wooden baskets.
Baskets with lids. Baskets without.
I love baskets.
Baskets help a home look neat and organized even when it’s not. Stack things inside a basket and pop on the lid – room neat.
I’ve told you . . . I hate to clean!
So when I walked into HomeGoods a few weeks ago, this basket had my name written all over it. I knew it would look perfect in the center of our patio table.
But after I brought it home I couldn’t think of anything to put in my basket other than this bird’s nest and a few flowers.
How would you use this basket?
I don’t want to use it as a planter because I’m afraid it will rust. Although, I could spray it with lacquer to try to prevent that from happening.
Here are a few wire baskets I found at Houzz.com.
The waste basket is the writer’s best friend. ~ Isaac Bashevis SingerAmazing isn’t it, how some see the basket half empty and others see it half full? Some see the hopeless, some hopeful. Even when things are less than perfect, if you can think of the good, the beautiful, the hopeful, you’ll be more than sustained. ~ Author Unknown
