There is a voice before whom every knee will bow and every tongue confess. It's essential for you and me to know the voice and listen to His truth. #Creation #VoiceofTruth #Hope #EternalLife #CountingmyBlessings #WWGGG

In the Garden, Jesus prayed:

“Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

Matthew 26:39

And Luke wrote:

He prayed more fervently, and he was in such agony of spirit that his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood.

Luke 22:44

Then it was time…

Judas arrived with a “contingent of Roman soldiers and Temple guards” to arrest “Jesus the Nazarene.”

And when the voice that spoke creation into existence said…

“I AM He!”

John 18:5

All who were there to arrest Him…

drew back and fell to the ground!

John 18:6

Whatever you are going through today, Your Creator . . . Your Redeemer reigns! His is the voice that is in control.

His is the Voice that controls the wind and waves.

Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.

Matthew 8:26

The Voice to which demons must submit.

Jesus reprimanded him. “Be quiet! Come out of the man,” he ordered. At that, the demon threw the man to the floor as the crowd watched; then it came out of him without hurting him further.

Luke 4:35

The Voice that defeated death.

He also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End.

Revelation 21:6

The Voice of the One before whom EVERYONE will bow down.

Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:9–11

The One who created and commands the Universe willingly gave Himself as a sacrifice for you and me invites us to KNOW, TRUST, AND LOVE HIM. His is the voice that says, “Come to me…”

A Prayer to Know and Listen to the Voice of Jesus

Lord Jesus, I can only imagine what it will be like when I can look in Your face and hear Your voice. I know that every single person who has seen You in Your glory has been flattened before You. Pride is gone in Your presence. The is no arrogance or narcissism. When we see Your face and hear Your voice no one will question who is in control.

You left the glories of heaven that You might use Your voice to change lives . . . to change my life. You spoke miracles and taught truths. You forgave sin, defeated death, and vanquished the enemy. You came to give me a life lived in victory when I know and listen to Your voice.

Thank you for allowing me to KNOW and TRUST You. Please help me LISTEN! The Father spoke from heaven and said, “This is my dearly loved Son. Listen to him.” (Mark 9:7) And You said, “those who listen will live.” (John 5:25) Please help me listen to and obey Your truth. Help me humbly follow where You lead and help me faithfully listen for the sound that will proclaim Your glorious return.

I love You, Lord. By Your grace, I pray to know and listen to Your voice that I might live every day for Your glory. Amen.

Pause today and turn off the noise in your life. Take a break from electronics and go for a walk or simply sit in the silence. Praise God! He has made it possible for you to know the voice of Jesus.

At His trial before Pilate, Jesus said, “Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.” (John 18:37)

We can trust Him . . . every word He says is true! And by His voice there is life!

On today’s note write:

With God’s help, I will know and listen to the Voice of Jesus . . . the Voice of LIFE!

God bless you today as you know and listen to the voice that is always and forever in control.

  1. I love reading this blog. I always learn something and feel that Jesus is right here with me.

During my mammogram last week, they found three spots in my left breast snd I need a biopsy. It was very alarming and is very scary. I go the 17th for my biopsy consultation and just walking into a cancer center is fear inducing to me.

If you could please pray for my MRI Biopsy to go smoothly and for good results on the outcome, I would be forever grateful to you all. I am also claustrophobic, but this is the only way they can see the spots during biopsy.

Thank you so very much for your prayers and your daily scripture and words of peace and encouragement.

Many Blessings to you all, Jennie????????????

Your devotional has encouraged me today. Thank you Deb for your spirit filled message! It is good to know that God is in control. We have nothing to fear, when we place our trust in Him. Jesus message is one of peace, hope and love, the greatest of these is LOVE. His love for us is everlasting. Those who listen to His voice know Him and He know us. He is ever present and He goes before us always. He tells us not to be troubled or afraid. He gives us everything we need to endure, when we cast our burdens on Him. Jesus is a way maker and a promise keeper and is all powerful….even the wind obeys Him in the storm. He is in control even when we feel overwhelmed.
    Blessings Deb and thank you.
