Faithfulness Quotes

Do you trust easily?
Would you describe yourself as a faithful friend?
Would you say your friends are faithful?

What does faithfulness mean to you?

The rest of the week we are going to look at a dozen ways to inspire and maintain faithfulness in our relationships. For today . . . let’s take a look at quotes and verses to help us look beyond cynicism and restore hope.

“I meant what I said and I said what I meant.” ~Dr. Suess

The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep His covenant and obey His demands. Psalm 25:10

“God has not called me to be successful; He has called me to be faithful.” ~Mother Teresa

It is good to proclaim Your unfailing love in the morning, Your faithfulness in the evening. Psalm 92:2

“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom,” says Paul. And we are most in line with the Spirit, most faithfully obedient, when instead of trying to manipulate people into faith, we simply live in that freedom and let the Spirit do the work of transformation.” ~Mark Galli

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. John 1:14

“A household has to be tended if it is to flourish and grow. Housework is never ‘done’ in the same sense that gardening is never done or that God’s providential involvement in the world is never done. Housework and gardening and God’s providence itself are exercises not in futility but in faithfulness – faithfulness to the work itself, to the people whose needs that work serves, and to the God whose own faithfulness invites our faithful response.” ~Margaret Kim Peterson

Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 106:1

As I look back over fifty years of ministry, I recall innumerable tests, trials and times of crushing pain. But through it all, the Lord has proven faithful, loving, and totally true to all his promises. ~ David Wilkerson

Jesus said to the people who believed in Him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. John 8:31

“We’re called to be faithful, to take those first difficult steps–and to leave the results up to God.” ~Alex Harris

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!” Lamentations 3:22–24

We have little control over the circumstances of life. We can’t control the weather or the economy, and we can’t control what other people say about or do to us. There is only one area where we have control–we can rule the kingdom inside. The heart of every problem is the problem in the heart. ~ Warren Wiersbe

Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise Him, all you people of the earth. For His unfailing love for us is powerful; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Psalm 117:1–2
