Trust His Love and Blessing Counters Link Party

God promises His love is constant and unchanging, but trusting Him with each day is sometimes hard. A list of reasons you can trust His love...

I know you don’t like to talk about it. I’m with you.

We honored our veterans this week. They understand obedience.

Part of obedience for those serving our country is trust. They need to know officers and fellow soldiers “have their back.”

That’s true for us too.

[Tweet “Obeying God is trusting His ways are best and that He “has our backs.”  He does. And our fronts too.”]

He loves us!

From His abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. John 1:16–17

He loves us so much He came to suffer our punishment.

And gave us VICTORY.

See, God has come to save me. I will trust in Him and not be afraid.
The Lord God is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.” Isaiah 12:2

And JOY.

The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul.
The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living. Psalm 19:7–8

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You,
all whose thoughts are fixed on You! Isaiah 26:3

I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources
He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit.
Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him.
Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide,
how long, how high, and how deep His love is. Ephesians 3:16–18

We have everything we need through Him. EVERYTHING!

Now let’s take a look at some great posts I found that shared the
beauty of His truth and His gift of strength.

Around the Blog

Kathy Cheek at In Quiet Places has a beautiful series going this month.
She’s sharing photos, verses, and thoughts inspired by her
photos – Autumn in the Arboretum.

I just met Laura Pekowski at Godward. She’s a fellow Michigander. (I grew up in MI)
Her post – Expecting Too Much From Those We Love is a battle everyone understands.
I imagine you’ve been on both sides of that battle at different times.
Go over and say hello to Laura – I love her space!

Stefanie at Called His – Beautifully Imperfect Christianity has a perfect post for this week’s topic.
Three Ideas to Let God Lead
That’s obedience isn’t it? Trusting God and following Him wherever He leads.
Go over and say hello. You will love getting to know her.

  1. That picture of the little hunter is way to cute! Thanks for that first thing this morning; I will have to show my children. Also, thanks for hosting this lovely blog hop.

  2. Hi Deb! I finally remembered to link up! Yay! I now even created a page on my blog with all my link parties so I won’t forget! Yay for that too 😀

    Have a blessed weekend friend!

  3. There is such a sweet gift in obeying Him, as well. All those things you mentioned and the power of hope and rest because when we obey Him, we know that we are secured by grace.

    Blessings to you!

  4. I love this verse, “your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.” I have been trying to water these roots of mine, keep them nourished and strong, so that they will continue to grow deeper. The deeper these roots are, the more unshakeable I become. I also love the reminder that when we trust God, in turn we are given the gift of peace. 🙂

  5. It’s my first time linking up over here, and it looks like I’ve found a GOOD thing! Thank you for hosting.

Pocket Full of Rocks–You made it all worth it. I’m heading over right now to LIKE on FB. We are homesteaders on the original land our family was granted and this photo just speaks MILES to us.

  6. Thank you SO much for the feature! My traffic is soaring this week and it’s so encouraging. You rock!

Also one small tech issue to report!! I have done this on my blog to. If you click to ‘add link’, it leads within your blog, giving an error page. Just at h t t p bit before the inklinkz link should fix it.

Sorry I’m not trying to talk down haha you may be well aware but if you need help let me know!
