Do you like to exercise?
Do you walk? Work out at a gym? Do DVD’s at home? Lift weights?
All of the above?
I have to mix it up with short spurts activity throughout the day . . . I run up and down the stairs, run on a trampoline, lift light weights, play with Sadie, anything that increases my heart rate and strengthens my muscles.
Balance and strength are becoming more important to me. I want to avoid back pain or a fall if possible; so, I have a short list of core exercises I include everyday.
Our daughter shared a tip from her fitness instructor a few weeks ago as we were going through core moves together…
“Lead with your heart.”
Remembering this advice has improved my form as I work out, my breathing, and my posture.
And the more I think about it, I believe it’s just good wisdom for life.
“Lead with your heart.”
Lead with love . . . love for God and love for others.
It changes everything doesn’t it.
Lead with love because you ARE loved. Completely. Totally. Right to our core. You are loved. I am loved.
Is leading with love risky? Absolutely.
Is leading with love pointless? Never.
Is leading with love impossible? With God’s help love is always possible.
May we go for it. Give it a try.
May we lead with our hearts.
Max Lucado Quotes on Love

“Let God have you, and let God love you – and don’t be surprised if your heart begins to hear music you’ve never heard and your feet learn to dance as never before.”
“No person [should] walk out into the world to begin the day until he or she has stood beneath the cross to receive God’s love.”
“Heaven does not know you as the fellow with the nice suit or the woman with the big house or the kid with the new bike. Heaven knows your heart.”
“For this is how God loved the world (put your name here): He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
