Is your inner voice friend or foe? Cheerleader or discourager?
[Tweet “You will believe whatever you tell yourself most often.”]
Many will tell you to follow your inner voice, but that’s only a good idea if your inner voice is giving you good advice.
If your inner voice is a bully you’ll end up discouraged and defeated.
And the Holy Spirit is not a bully.
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22–23
Do you apply spiritual fruit to yourself? Asking for forgiveness where you need it; then practicing love, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control with those things you think about yourself?
