Beautiful Christmas Blessings to Share with Friends
Christmas Blessings, Friends!!
It’s time to celebrate Jesus, the best gift ever given.
May these verses, quotes, and prayers encourage you and help you remember that even if your day doesn’t look like you wanted … the Lord of the universe left the glories of heaven because He loves you more than you can imagine.
Let’s thank and praise God for Jesus, the Messiah, the living example of God’s perfect grace, mercy, and love.
Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!
Luke 2:9–11
Father God, You promised to send the Messiah to save us. He is our Lord and Savior giving us new life we can never achieve on our own. He is the Way, Truth, and Life. He removes our fear and enables us to live with great joy!
He is the source of the Best News Ever. He is Your perfect love come to earth. He is God with us. He is the eternal blessing for all who KNOW, LOVE, and TRUST Him. Thank You for giving us the Best Gift Ever. Thank you for Jesus. Amen.
“If we could condense all the truths of Christmas into only three words, these would be the words: “God with us.” We tend to focus our attention at Christmas on the infancy of Christ. The greater truth of the holiday is His deity. More astonishing than a baby in the manger is the truth that this promised baby is the omnipotent Creator of the heavens and the earth!” ~ John MacArthur
But when the right time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent Him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that He could adopt us as His very own children.
Galatians 4:4–5
Father, thank you for making us Your “very own children.” Thank you for making me Your child. I can face the future knowing that You are my “Abba, Father” who surrounds me with perfect love. You forgive, provide, guide, comfort, protect, and love. You give peace, hope, strength, joy, and victory for life.
I was hopelessly bound by sin and Jesus suffered to purchase my freedom. I pause to celebrate His life … the life that saved me so I can live with hope for His glorious return. Amen.
“The joy of the Christmas message is so much richer, deeper, and more beautiful than any other story that has ever been told. Glory was wrapped in flesh and dwelt among us so that we could be wrapped in righteousness and dwell with God. Jesus lived a perfect life so that He could be the perfect sacrifice for all that is wrong both in our own lives and in the world. Without Jesus our belief has no merit, our faith has no basis, and hope has no anchor. In Jesus, we find the joy of believing. In Jesus, we find the substance of our faith. In Jesus, we know this to be a season of hope.” ~ Melissa Kruger
God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
1 John 4:9–10
Father, I am overwhelmed at the very thought of Your love. You love broken people, like me, so much that You gave Jesus. It’s impossible to imagine the Lord of all creation willingly humbling and weakening Himself to be born as a helpless infant.
That He would lay down His power and majesty and give Himself to ridicule, rejection, betrayal, suffering, and death is beyond comprehension. But by Your grace, we have faith to believe, strength for today, and hope for the future.
We trust Your love because of who You are and all You’ve done.
Thank you for Christmas. Thank you for Jesus. Glory to God in the highest. Amen.
I pray your day is filled with Christmas Blessings overflowing with peace, hope, and joy!
I’d like to close with the following prayer from Pastor John Piper…
“That is my prayer for you this Christmas—that you would experience the fullness of Christ; that you would know in your heart the outpouring of grace upon grace; that the glory of the only Son from the Father would shine into your heart to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ; that you would be amazed that Christ can be so real to you.” Amen.
We would love to pray for you.
