When You Wish They’d Come With Instructions – Free
Each child is born with a unique personality, individual talents, and specific abilities. Wouldn’t it be nice if they’d come with instructions too?
The next part of the ceremony was very special and mysterious. The planting of Sarah’s garden—a garden started from a unique mixture of seeds chosen just for her. No one else had a garden exactly like Sarah’s.
This was to be Sarah’s special place with beautiful beds of flowers to reflect her outer loveliness and represent the beauty of her tender heart. A place to remind her that she was extraordinarily precious to the King.
Sarah’s Garden is a parable for girls of all ages. It tells of the struggle in each of us to flourish in our strengths rather than persisting in our weaknesses.

You will join Sarah as she deals with confusion and frustration trying to care for her special garden.
Find out who the King sends to help her after the ogre, the nasties, and the “trashy” villagers make a mess of her garden, and discover the thrill she experiences when she learns of her true identity and the fabulous future that awaits her.
I wrote Sarah’s Garden in 2008, and dedicated it to my mom, Sarah Eunice, the guardian of my childish heart, and the first caregiver of my garden. A garden planted of personality, talents, and gifts . . . a one of a kind mixture of seeds given by God for His plans and purposes.
Do you ever feel overwhelmed with the responsibility of caring for your young child’s garden? Do you feel anxious as she transitions to caring for that precious garden herself? Do you find yourself frustrated over gardening challenges—your child’s? Your own?
There is hope! And that is the message of Sarah’s garden. The hope of a beautiful garden. Unique. Personal. Beautifully planted by and for the King of Forever and Ever.

One last thing, my friend, Rebecca Mueller was only 12 years old when she created the illustrations for Sarah’s Garden. Share this with any budding artists you know. Encourage them to keep drawing and use those artistic seeds for the glory of the One who made them and loves them more than they can ever imagine.
We would love to pray for you.
You can leave your prayer requests here…
