We know the Holy Spirit wants us to know about God but He also wants us to know the important truths that God says about us. #HolySpirit #BibleStudy #Blessings #Godlovesyou

Is your inner voice your friend or foe? Do the majority of your thoughts encourage or discourage you?

I ask because the important truth is . . . you and I will believe whatever we tell ourselves most often.

There are many voices that will tell you that you need to follow your inner voice but that’s only good advice if that voice is giving you . . . good advice.

If your inner voice is a bully or foolish you will consistently end up discouraged and defeated.

God’s Spirit is not a bully nor is He foolish.

The Bible tells us the Holy Spirit is our…

  • Counselor – Jesus said, “The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have told you.” John 14:26 (CSB)
  • Helper – “I will send the Helper to you.” John 16:7 (NCV)
  • Spirit of Truth – “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will lead you into all truth.” John 116:13 (NCV)
  • Spirit of Life – “The written law brings death, but the Spirit gives life.” 2 Corinthians 3:6 (NCV)

So, let’s take a look at the important truths the Spirit of God says about you and me…

♥ We are loved by God with unfailing love.

Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.

Psalm 136:2

We are uniquely and wonderfully made by God.

I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.

Psalm 139:14 (Voice)

God forgives us when we come to Him in repentance.

People are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.

Romans 4:5

We have an important purpose given to us by God.

“I am the First and the Last; there is no other God. Do not tremble; do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim my purposes for you long ago. You are my witnesses—is there any other God? No! There is no other Rock—not one!”

Isaiah 44:6,8

God has plans for each of us.

O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.

Psalm 40:5

God will help and guide us when we follow Him.

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”

Psalm 32:8

God will meet our every need when we SEEK Him first.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.

Luke 12:31

♥ We can trust God to keep His promises . . . always!

God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.

Psalm 18:30
We know the Holy Spirit wants us to know about God but He also wants us to know the important truths that God says about us. #HolySpirit #BibleStudy #Blessings #Godlovesyou

When is the last time your inner voice reminded you that:

  • God loves you.
  • You are forgiven.
  • God will accomplish His plans and purposes for your life.
  • He will help and guide you today.
  • He will meet your needs today.
  • With God’s help, you can make today a good day!

A Prayer Thanking God for the
Important Truths He Says About Us

Father, once again, I come to You thanking You for giving us Your Word. It overwhelms my heart to know that You not only want me to know about big spiritual things . . . You want me to know the personal promises You have for me.

Your Word tells me that You know everything about me, that I am uniquely and wonderfully created (Psalm 139), and that even the hairs on my head are numbered (Matthew 10:30). It says that You love me and that You have plans for me (1 Thessalonians 1:4, Psalm 40:5). It promises that You will help me, guide me, and meet my needs, and encourages me to remember that with You, today is a good day!

I thank and praise You for who You are and for all You do in my life. I thank and praise You for Jesus and for the Spirit who whispers words of promise and encouragement to my heart each day. Amen.

We know the Holy Spirit wants us to know about God but He also wants us to know the important truths that God says about us. #HolySpirit #BibleStudy #Blessings #Godlovesyou

I believe God gave us the Holy Spirit not only because He wants us to know Him but because He wants us to know the important truths He says about us.

He wants us to know how very much we are loved and how much He cares about every moment of our lives. He sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins. He sent the Spirit to give us faith that grows and lasts. He gave us everything we need so we might experience a future with Him in heaven, and a rich and satisfying life right now.

That is amazing grace and overwhelming love!

Let’s refuse to allow our inner voice to discourage or defeat us. No matter what happens . . . may we look in the mirror and see someone who the Lord declares loved and forgiven.

In fact, let’s say the following important truth out loud until we believe it…

I am loved. I am beautiful. I am unique and wonderful, created for a purpose. God has plans for me and He will guide me and meet my needs so I can accomplish them. I will make today a good day. God is with me. I can trust His promises! He loves me and His love lasts forever!

We know the Holy Spirit wants us to know about God but He also wants us to know the important truths that God says about us. #HolySpirit #BibleStudy #Blessings #Godlovesyou

May God be with you today and through His Spirit, fill you with the important truth that you are dearly loved and precious to Him.

We would love to pray for you.
