Loving Day – Love Knows No Color
In 1961 it would have been illegal for our children to marry each other. 22 states and 96% of the population disapproved of interracial marriage.
Then on June 12, 1967, in the case Loving v. Virginia, the Supreme Court unanimously struck down the country’s anti-miscegenation laws, allowing interracial couples across the country to marry.
Loving Day’s mission is to fight racial prejudice through
education and to build multicultural community.
Our family is thankful and blessed to celebrate Loving Day.
I can’t imagine living at a time when my family couldn’t look like this.
I can’t imagine my life without this little man.
“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other.
Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.”

and endures through every circumstance.

and your love for God’s people everywhere,
I have not stopped thanking God for you.

Amen! Such a blessing you have shared today. Oh, that we would look at the heart as God does and know who we are in Him.
