Quotes – When You Need Strength

Psalm 73:26

Most days I wake up feeling weak and vulnerable.

And it’s okay.

I don’t have to be strong. I just have to get up, wander into my quiet place, and turn to the One who promises to give me His strength. The One whose grace is sufficient and whose love never ends. My Father, who will give me exactly what I need for this day.

Tomorrow . . . well, we’ll take care of that when the time comes.

Quotes – When You Need Strength

“Do not strive in your own strength; cast yourself at the feet of the Lord Jesus, and wait upon Him in the sure confidence that He is with you, and works in you. Strive in prayer; let faith fill your heart-so will you be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” ~Andrew Murray

“So many times we say that we can’t serve God because we aren’t whatever is needed. We’re not talented enough or smart enough or whatever. But if you are in covenant with Jesus Christ, He is responsible for covering your weaknesses, for being your strength. He will give you His abilities for your disabilities!” ~Kay Arthur

Search for the Lord and for His strength; continually seek Him. 1 Chronicles 16:11

“No one enjoys feeling weak, whether it is emotionally, spiritually or physically. There is something within the human spirit that wants to resist the thought of weakness. “Prayer is more than meditation. In meditation, the source of strength is one’s self. When one prays, he goes to a source of strength greater than his own.” ~ Madame de Stael

He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to His name. Psalm 23:3

“Remember, it is not your weakness that will get in the way of God’s working through you, but your delusions of strength. His strength is made perfect in our weakness! Point to His strength by being willing to admit your weakness.” ~Paul David Tripp

“If you worry, you are a worrier because your mind is saturated with worry thoughts. To counteract these, mark every passage in your Bible that speaks of faith, hope, and courage.” ~Norman Vincent Peale

Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing. Isaiah 40:26
