You Need to Smile More - 20 Quotes to Inspire You

I decided years ago that if I was going to get wrinkles anyway, I wanted smile lines. No frown lines dragging the corners of my mouth down to my chin for me. Nope, I wanted lines between mouth and cheeks created by years of intentional grinning.

And that’s only one of the benefits of smiling. It also:

  • Improves your mood.
  • Makes you more approachable.
  • Boosts your creativity and productivity.
  • Reduces stress.
  • Slows your heart rate and improves your blood pressure.
  • Strengthens your immune system.
  • Builds relationships.
  • Spreads contagious joy.

This is National Smile Week in the United States and Britain. A time to focus on oral health to maintain your beautiful smile.

A Smile is:
a pleased, kind, or amused facial expression, typically with the
corners of the mouth turned up and the front teeth exposed.
