Merry Christmas!

Jesus the Savior is Born!

Merry Christmas! Praising God for the gift of Jesus the Savior who gives life now and forever and praising Him for friends like you who bless and encourage me every single day.

For a child is born to us,
a Son is given to us.
The government will rest on His shoulders.
And He will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
His government and its peace
will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne
of His ancestor David for all eternity.
The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies
will make this happen!

Isaiah 9:6–7

As you and I reflect on the true meaning of Christmas,
may we focus our hearts and minds on

God’s grace, mercy, and unfailing love.

Merry Christmas! Praising God for the gift of Jesus the Savior who gives life now and forever and praising Him for friends like you who bless and encourage me every single day.

A prayer of thanks for Jesus the Savior and for friends like you…

Father God, I thank and praise you for the gracious gift of Jesus the Savior … a gift too wonderful for words. I am a sinner who deserves eternal punishment but You gave Jesus so that I might be forgiven and receive the gift of eternal life.

No Christmas gift in this world could ever compare with Your perfect forever gift to us. I lift my heart with thanks and praise. I worship You, with all that I am. I give myself to You in gratitude. Oh Lord, I love You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. And with Your help, I will love the people in my life according to Your will.

Father, I thank and praise you for the person reading this Christmas note. I am so very grateful for every one of the people You send here. Thank you for their kindness and friendship. They are my prayer partners and encouragers. They share their stories of faith with me and tell me of the gracious work You are doing in their lives. They lift me up when I am discouraged. And their prayers mean more to me than they will ever know.

Please bless and encourage each of them today and throughout the coming year. Please fill their lives with faith, hope, and love. Give them everything they need and bless them out of Your bountiful mercy and grace. In the name of Jesus, our Savior and King. Amen.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father full of grace and truth.”

John 1:14

“Once in our world, a stable had something in it that was bigger than our whole world.” ~ C. S. Lewis

Merry Christmas my friend! I pray that your celebration is wrapped in love … the love of family and friends and most of all in the unfailing and everlasting love of God—the Father who gave His only Son, Jesus the Savior who gave His life, and the Spirit who gives us every spiritual blessing.

Much love and gratitude…
