10 Verses that will Help You Remember How Much God Loves You
I occasionally have bad mood days when I’ll look at Rev and say, “I don’t feel very lovable today.”
And he always responds the same way.
He’ll say, “I’ll bet you do!” As he wraps me in a big hug and holds me close.
I know. It’s a little cheesy but it always makes me feel better.
Do you ever have days when you need God to give you a big hug and hold you close? Days when your mood leaves you feeling unloved and unlovable?
The wonderful truth is God’s love doesn’t depend on our moods or how lovable we feel. It doesn’t depend on what we say or do or on what anyone else says and does.
God loves you and me because He chooses to love us.
God is love! It’s His character. Love is who He is.
So, let’s pause today and allow the Lord to wrap us up in His love.

God Loves You
♥ God’s love never fails.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Psalm 86:5
♥ God’s love never ends.
The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.
Lamentations 3:22–23
Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.
♥ God’s love is unconditional.
This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
1 John 4:10
♥ God’s love is undeserved.
But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

A Prayer of Thanks and Praise – God Loves You
Father, Your love overwhelms me. Your Word tells me that You created me and lovingly watch over every moment of my life. Even on the days when I don’t feel very lovable when my heart hurts and I know, I’ve fallen short . . . You still love me. Your perfect love never fails. You love us just the way we are and yet, You patiently work in us and around us because You want us to be like Jesus.
How can I begin to thank you . . . to show You how very much I treasure Your countless blessings in my life? Your Word says that You do not desire a sacrifice but that You welcome a broken and repentant heart. (Psalm 51:17) I am sorry for the many times I’ve failed to love the way You want me to love. I am sorry that I’ve allowed my feelings to distract me from Your Truth. Please forgive me and by the power of Your Spirit, help me surrender my feelings, my plans, my life, my all . . . to You, Yahweh, my Creator, my Savior, my Helper—who loves me. Amen.
Are you carrying a heavy burden today? Do you struggle with the feeling that no matter how hard you try it’s just not enough? Is the enemy taunting you with whispers that want you to believe you’re unlovable?
Pause and remember the TRUTH – God’s perfect unfailing unchanging unconditional marvelous love surrounds you just the way you are!
You can count on it! You can trust it! You can trust God’s Word! You can trust Him!
