I can only imagine what it will be like when the heavens part and Jesus appears to claim those who KNOW, LOVE, and TRUST Him. What a day that will be! #Revelation #JesusReturn #Faith #Blessings #Jesuslovesyou

Are you ready to celebrate?!?!

After messages of disasters and epic battles page after page . . . the last four chapters of Revelation, and the last four chapters of the Bible, lift us up with Heaven’s majesty and God’s complete and total victory!

A victory that by His grace . . . you and I share in!

Look at the way John describes this scene:

I heard again what sounded like the shout of a vast crowd
or the roar of mighty ocean waves or the crash of loud thunder:

“Praise the Lord!
For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.
Let us be glad and rejoice,
and let us give honor to him.
For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb,
and his bride has prepared herself.
She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.”
For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people.”

Revelation 19:6–8

The Lord God Almighty reigns and He is coming for His bride, the church (all faithful believers of all time). And all her members are dressed in the beauty of all the ways she shared God’s love in the world.

Then heaven opens and the Lord Jesus appears:

Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns.

The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses.

On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.

Revelation 19:11–12a, 14, 16

This is not the image of “gentle Jesus meek and mild.”

He is the King of kings and Lord of lords . . . Creator, Redeemer, Conqueror, God of the Universe.

The first time He came to humble Himself that we might be forgiven and saved. When He returns He will bring God’s judgment against sin and evil. But for all who love Him, those who have placed their faith and hope in Him, those whose “names are written in the book of Life—He will begin a wedding celebration that is beyond anything we can imagine.

Oh, what a day that will be! The day the heavens part and Jesus appears for all to see!

A Prayer to Anticipate the Celebration
the Day Jesus will Appear

Father, thank you for this glimpse of the moment Jesus will appear to claim His children to heaven. Thank you for Your Word, Your love letter that reveals how very much You love us. Your promises that everything in creation from beginning through our forever future with You is only possible through the love of Jesus.

You have given us a blessing beyond measure. Of all the treasures we desire or gifts we will ever receive, nothing will ever come close to comparing with the priceless blessings You offer us in and through Christ Jesus.

I give myself to You. I thank and praise You, Lord. And I will live with joy and anticipation for the day Jesus will appear. It’s in His precious name, I pray. Amen.

I can only imagine what it will be like when the heavens part and Jesus appears to claim those who KNOW, LOVE, and TRUST Him. What a day that will be! #Revelation #JesusReturn #Faith #Blessings #Jesuslovesyou

I remember the night I had this dream like it was yesterday.

We had been waiting and longing for this particular blessing for what seemed like forever. And if I’m being perfectly honest, I had not waited patiently. It was a time of whining and pouting and well, let’s just say I would have made the whiney wilderness wanderers proud.

But then we learned the wait was almost over and we were overjoyed!

And that’s when the Lord gave me this vision in the form of a dream.

I was at the mall, and a stranger walked up to me and placed my long-awaited treasure in my arms, and walked away. I remember feeling thrilled and excited but also a little nervous. I carried my precious bundle out to the car and climbed into the driver’s seat to head for home.

When…

The entire area was filled with the most brilliant white light I had ever seen in my life. I couldn’t see anything else but the radiance around me. And I was overwhelmed . . . I crossed my hands on the steering wheel, dropped my head, and said, ” I love You, Jesus. I love You, Jesus!”

And that’s when I woke up!

God graciously gave me a glimpse that no other desire of our hearts matters more than Jesus.

He is the Lord God Almighty. He is coming for His bride and He longs for you and me to be dressed in white anticipating the moment He will appear.

On today’s note write:

Oh, what a celebration it will be when Jesus appears.

May God bless you today and fill you with hope and joy as you set your heart and mind on Jesus, the One who loves you more than you can ever imagine.
