Day 25 – God, Please Bless and Protect Your Church with Truth

The “church” is made up of all of us who trust and follow Jesus. In one of His last recorded prayers, Jesus prayed…

Father, I am in them and You are in Me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know You sent Me and that You love them as much as You love Me. John 17:23

When I look around at all the different denominations and read some of the clashes between Christians on social media … well, we need God’s help.

So, I’m asking God to bless and protect us by the power of His Spirit … and praying that He will unite us with His truth and His love.

The church has been under attack from without and within since the beginning. So, I'm asking God ... please bless and protect Your church. #Church #Faith #MountainMovingPrayers #BlessingCounter

God, Please Bless and Protect
Your Church with Truth

Father, The attacks on Your children and Your church are many … coming from without and within.

We need You.

Jesus said…

“Where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:20

Please pour out Your Spirit on our churches Father. As we gather in Jesus name, please guide us by Your truth.

Please protect Your church.

It’s so easy to allow culture and denominational differences to distract us and tear us apart … and honestly, it’s hard not to get discouraged.

You promised that when we seek You above all else You will give us everything we need.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. Luke 12:31

And You have!

We have Your Word and the promise that You hear every prayer.

Father, give Your children a hunger and thirst for You. Matthew 5:6
For Your Word. 2 Timothy 4:2
And prayer. Colossians 4:2

Please unite us in Your Spirit, and bind us together with Your peace. Ephesians 1:3

Help us genuinely love and honor each other. Romans 12:10

May we…

Use the gifts You have given us to serve each other well. 1 Peter 4:10
Treat each other with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience … and quickly forgive each other as we remember the ways You have forgiven us. Colossians 3:12–12

Father, there have always been and there will always be those who try to divide Your church and harm Your children. Please protect your church. Teach us Your truth and grant us Your wisdom.

Help us remember that Your way is perfect and Your promises prove true. Psalm 18:30

Father, help us follow the commands of Jesus, and …

Love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Mark 12:30
Love others the way You love us. John 13:34
Do good to others for Your glory. Matthew 5:16
Go and make disciples. Matthew 28:19
Ask, seek, and knock through bold and persistent prayers. Matthew 7:7

Finally, Father, I ask You to protect Your church around the world from any and all forms of persecution.

We need You, Father. Please bless us and protect us. Teach us Your truth and unite us in Jesus. Amen.

  1. As followers of Christ, we so need this feeling of unification, Deb. We should be one in the Spirit and one in the Lord.
    Blessings!
