Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping Him with holy fear and awe.

Hebrews 12:28

Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear.

Verses to Pray – God is Awesome

Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles He performs for people!

Psalm 66:5

Father God, You spoke Light into existence on the first day of creation. You are God of awesome miracles, dividing the Red Sea to protect the wilderness wanderers (Exodus 14–15), making the sun stand still for Joshua (Joshua 10). You performed miracles through Jesus, who fed thousands, walked on water (Matthew 14 and Mark 6), and raised Lazarus (John 11), and the widow’s son (Luke 7). And You miraculously gave us Your saving grace through the death and resurrection of Your Son, our Savior, Jesus (John 20).

Those are miracles I’ve read about, but I’ve also seen Your miracles in my life. I’ve given birth to babies. I’ve witnessed lives changed through Your love. I’ve seen Rev survive surgery, which the doctors said was unlikely.

And those are just a few of the list that goes on and on. You are the awesome God of miracles. I believe. Amen.

He heals the brokenhearted
    and bandages their wounds.
He counts the stars
and calls them all by name.
How great is our Lord! His power is absolute!
    His understanding is beyond comprehension!

Psalm 147:3-5

Lord, this world is full of things that break our hearts. You know. You humbled Yourself and walked among brokenhearted people for 33 years. You know us personally and intimately. You know our thoughts, as well as our strengths and weaknesses.

You know every detail of creation, watching over it all with Your love. You are powerful and great. You know exactly what we need and provide for us.

On good days and bad, I entrust myself to Your loving care. You have healed my broken heart in the past, and if needed, I trust that You will again. Thank you! Amen.

God is Awesome! Through the pages of God's Word, nouns and adjectives describe His awesome attributes, being worthy of all our worship, praise, love, and adoration. Here are verses to pray and praise.

Have you never heard?
    Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of His understanding.

Isaiah 40:28

Whenever or wherever I need You, Lord, You are with me. You had no beginning, and You will have no end. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You are never too tired to hear my prayers or know my needs.

Everything is possible for You. You are Creator, Savior, Provider, Comforter, and Friend. You not only understand me and the world around me, but You know the past and the future, always working to bring people safely into Your Kingdom.

I praise You. Please give me all I need to TRUST and OBEY You in FAITH. Amen.

Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise!
No one can measure His greatness.

Psalm 145:3

Father, I have always been moved by Job’s words to You, “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop You. I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes.” (Job 42:2, 5)

You told that broken and grieving man Your TRUTH, making it possible for Him to not just know about You, but to KNOW You. By Your grace, You do the same for everyone who cries out to You … all who SEEK You and Your Kingdom in faith.

Whatever this life brings, You alone are worthy. You give strength in weakness, peace in chaos, hope in despair, and Light in darkness. You guide my steps, and guide me with Your Spirit.

I worship You with all my heart. Amen.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.

Romans 8:28

Awesome God, thank you for Your many promises. Thank you for the assurance that You are always at work in our lives. Even when life is unsettling, and we are confused. This home is only temporary. You are always working for the ultimate good of our present and eternal futures.

You are active in our lives, engaging us with opportunities to grow in faith and become more like our Savior, Jesus.Your purpose for Your children for us is to shine the light of Your love and tell people about Jesus.

Thank you for loving me. Thank you for working in and around me. Thank you for faithfully providing for my needs. I love You with all that I am. Amen.
