We're remembering those who gave their lives and paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Come and tell us who you are remembering today... #MemorialDay #Freedom #Love #Blessings #Faith

Will we remember . . .

those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom?

Will we remember . . .

the Revolution when 4,500 Americans died for the
right to live in freedom with independence?

Will we remember . . .

the Civil War where brother fought against brother
and 600,000+ died for a united nation and equality?

Will we remember . . .

the origin of Memorial Day – as families mourned
death and devastation after the Civil War?

Will we remember . . .

WWI and the 116,000+ fallen soldiers who fought so the
“world would be safe for democracy?” ~Woodrow Wilson

Will we remember . . .

WWII and the 405,000+ who lost their lives to defend freedom
against the expansionist policies of Nazi Germany, Italy, and Japan?

Will we remember . . .

the 94,725 who died in Korea and Viet Nam sacrificing everything to
fight the spread of communism and protect freedom and democracy?

Will we remember . . .

the almost 7500 men and women who have died since 2001
to protect and defend freedom.

Will we remember . . .

each man and woman who sacrificed everything for our
freedom and independence throughout the history of our nation?

Will we remember . . .

those who have grieved at the graveside of a fallen soldier?

Will we remember . . .
the One who gave His life that we might have the freedom that lasts forever?

This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, there is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave His life to purchase freedom for everyone.

A Prayer of Gratitude for the Gift of Freedom

Father, how can I ever sufficiently thank you? Any freedom I am able to enjoy is a gift from Your hand and the truth I am remembering today is that it always comes at a high price. The enemy wants to place us in bondage physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. But You sent Jesus to win my freedom. He said, “So if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.” (John 8:36) Through Him, I am freed to become the person You created me to be.

There is freedom in Knowing, Trusting, and Following Your will. Your desire for us is a full and satisfying life (John 10:10) and a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). You want us to enjoy peace, joy, and love now and forever. What an amazing blessing it is to experience freedom in Jesus . . . freedom from sin and freedom to LIVE.

Father, Jesus said, “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13) And He showed us that great love. He called us “friends” and willingly gave His life for us. Thank you for the men and women who have chosen to courageously stand up against the nation’s enemies . . . who laid down their lives that others might be free.

May I always remember the gift of love that I have been given. May I not only remember may I love the way I have been loved by You. Cover me with Your all-sufficient grace that I might have everything I need to courageously live with love. I ask this in the name of Jesus, who died that I might be free forevermore. Amen.

Jesus said, “I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth.” John 18:37

And the truth is:

“Jesus himself is the truth that sets us free. He is the source of truth, the perfect standard of what is right. He frees us from continued slavery to sin, from self-deception, and from satan’s lies. Jesus’ perfect truth frees us to be all that God meant us to be.” (LAB Notes for John 8:31–32)

By God’s grace, you and I can KNOW and TRUST that Jesus is the TRUTH who saves us and sets us free.

Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

John 8:31–32

So, pause today and thank God for Jesus who gave His life for our eternal freedom and thank Him for those who gave their lives that we might live in a nation that enjoys freedom today.

Very much in order to remember those who selflessly gave their life that our lives may be better where we enjoy greater freedom. It makes us have a feel of what Christ did for an eternal freedom by his own blood.
People who sacrifice their own freedom to allow many enjoy the same needs to be remembered.
Be blessed my Sister for the insightful sharings.
